Integrated Bee Brick

The Bee Brick is designed to replace a standard house brick and can be mortared directly into an exterior wall, providing habitat for solitary non-swarming bees. Integrating wildlife friendly building products into the fabric of new build constructions can be a step towards lessening the impact of our man-made structures on biodiversity. With careful single brick removal, these could also be retro-fitted to an existing exterior wall.

Best installed facing direct sunlight (South, South East) at least 0.75m above ground level, and preferably in close proximity to bee friendly plant species.
