Description

Price on application (Please call 0114 261 9478 for details)

A permanent or long-term fencing system for newts, other amphibians and reptiles.

This material is stabilised against ultraviolet (UV) damage for up to 15 years. It has a 50mm return folded and welded into the top edge forming an overlap to emulate the 'rolled top curl' in the English Nature Newt Mitigation Guidelines. There is also a scored groove 100mm from the bottom of the panel to allow the installer to create an underground return, if required. Each panel also incorporates 4 expansion slots at one end. These allow for slight expansion in the panels casued by seasonal temperature changes and therefore protects the fixings from breaking.
(If using the expansion slots, use fixings: Tek Screws with washer - 5.5x38mm)
This material is suited for sites where there is a high level risk of human disturbance. When correctly installed it provides a barrier that is highly resistant to vandalism and general site damage. For correct installation it should be used in conjunction with wooden stakes. The raw material in this product is sourced from post consumer and post manufacturer sources, and as such offers a high degree of environmental sustainability.

This panel product can be produced in other dimensions and thicknesses (eg 4mm thick) to order but this may be subject to a lead-time and minimum order quantity.
