The Caudon® General Purpose Bat Box has been designed as an all-round basic bat box and summer roosting box. This box can also be used to help determine the presence of bats in an area prior to providing additional chambers. Installing a number of these boxes facing in different directions, and at a range of heights, can be effective in ensuring maximum roosting potential.
Equivalent to a 2F Bat Box
The chamber houses a single internal baffle which along with the inner faces of the front and back panel is textured with grooves to provide hanging space. A grooved landing strip on the rear entrance hole aids bat take up and the simple front exit hole provides a clear flight path from the chamber. The CNC engineered design ensures close fitting joins to eliminate light and draft leaks.
The lightweight material and construction make for easy handling and transportation. Each box comes with a mounting plate for easy fixing, minimising installation time and therefore reducing project costs where a large number are to be installed.

- If mounting several boxes in an area, vary the angle slightly between each one.
