A load bearing all steel newt grid for creating vehicular and pedestrian access/crossing points through a newt fence installation. Used on construction and development sites where a site has been ring-fenced with newt fencing. Set into a concrete foundation, the steel construction creates a newt proof channel that allows for vehicles to cross but not newts or other amphibians & reptiles. Any newts attempting to cross the grid will retreat or fall into the channel. Any newts in the newt grid can only exit at either end of the grid on to the 'newt side' of the fence. Can be made in various lengths to suit the crossing point requirements. Options available for grade of steel used depending on load bearing requirements. Made to order.
