 A permanent fencing system for the exclusion of water voles for long term installations or where maximum protection against burrowing is required. This product has been designed to offer protection inline with the guidelines suggested by the latest water mitigation handbook and has been used successfully on projects referencing that specification. The 500mm underlap function of this panel and the strength of the HDPE material used eliminates the need for additional wire mesh to protect the integrity of the panel against burrowing but could also be added if necessary. It has a lifespan of 15+ years against UV degradation and offers a high degree of security against penetration by all rodents as well as a high degree of resistance to vandalism . A routed groove is positioned at 500mm up from the bottom of the panel edge to allow the creation of an underground return. This gives a finished panel height of 1900mm (1200mm above ground and 700mm below).
