Caudon Silt Fencing Membrane is a high-quality barrier fence designed to control silt run-off from sites during groundworks, preventing contaminants from entering water courses such as rivers, streams, drainage systems, or from contaminating sensitive top soils and flora.
It’s woven & porous construction allows for the passage of water but filtering out any particulate material or sediment from excavated or disturbed soils on site. Using silt fencing to secure your site for sediment run-off has benefits for wildlife and the environment as well as helping to prevent flooding. Rolls of Caudon Silt Fencing are 100m long and 900mm high and contains UV stabilising agents to prolong life and integrity of the silt fence. We would recommend installing using Wooden Stakes 50mmx50mmx1000mm and Caudon® Washers & Wood Screws. Looser woven sections of the membrane also facilitate the use of Plastic cable ties to secure the fencing membrane to a wooden post. |
