A new product as an alternative to the Caudon Semi-permanent Newt Fencing Panels... but on a roll. The benefits of this product mean that you get a continuous length of material for approx. 100m. This means there are no joins between panels, a common weak point in a newt fence and less material loss due to the overlap between panels.

There is also a potential cost saving on shipping this product to you as we can get up to 9 rolls (approx 900m) on one single pallet. The equivalent weight of Caudon Semi-permanent Newt Fencing Panels would take up 4 pallet spaces.

This is a 91Kg roll which equates to approximately 104m. We do sometimes carry larger rolls which usualy weigh approx 180Kg, please enquire by email or telephone if you are interested in larger rolls. We are unable to split rolls.

(These calculations are based on material that is exactly 1mm thick, some batches of rolls supplied to us do vary in thickness slightly so there may be a slight variation in the length that you get out of each roll.

Other than that the specifications for this material are the same as for the Caudon Semi-permanent Newt Fencing Panels:

A heavy duty great crested newt barrier system for newts, other amphibians and reptiles. This material is stabilised against ultraviolet (UV) damage for up to 5 years. The material is flexible and can be rolled to form an underlap and overlap to comply with English Nature Great Crested Newt Mitigation Guidelines. This material is suited for sites where there is a medium level risk of human disturbance. For correct installation it should be used in conjunction with wooden stakes and Caudon® Washers. The raw material in this product is sourced from post consumer and post manufacturer sources, and as such offers a high degree of environmental sustainability.
