A new product as an alternative to the Caudon Semi-permanent Newt Fencing Panels... but on a roll. The benefits of this product mean that you get a continuous length of material for up to 200m (approx). This means there are no joins between panels, a common weak point in a newt fence and less material loss due to the overlap between panels.

There is also a potential cost saving on shipping this product to you as we can get up to approx. 900Kg on one single pallet. The equivalent weight of Caudon Semi-permanent Newt Fencing Panels would take up 3 pallet spaces.

This material is sold by the Kg and roll sizes do vary but we know the weights of each roll. We stock rolls that are approx 90Kg and approx 180Kg and have to supply to the nearest complete roll.

1Kg = 1.15m (Approximately)
1m = 0.87Kg (Approximately)

(These calculations are based on material that is exactly 1mm thick, some batches of rolls supplied to us do vary in thickness slightly so we will take this into consideration when you place an order to get a final quantity required, please call us to discuss this with us.)

A heavy duty great crested newt barrier system for newts, other amphibians and reptiles. This material is stabilised against ultraviolet (UV) damage for up to 5 years. The material is flexible and can be rolled to form an underlap and overlap to comply with English Nature Great Crested Newt Mitigation Guidelines. This material is suited for sites where there is a medium level risk of human disturbance. For correct installation it should be used in conjunction with wooden stakes and Caudon® Washers. The raw material in this product is sourced from post consumer and post manufacturer sources, and as such offers a high degree of environmental sustainability.
