Manthorpe Swift Nesting Brick
A built-in cavity wall swift nest box ideal for new build housing.
The Manthorpe Swift Brick has been developed in conjunction with house builders, the RSPB & Action for Swifts to provide an integrated nesting space for swifts during the summer months when they come to raise their young.
These units are designed to be built into the outer brickwork course of cavity walled housing. This makes it the ideal choice for developers to be installing directly into new build housing stock during construction phase and satisfying their biodiversity requirements or obligations.
Features:
- Replaces a single brick with coloured faux brick facing slips to match surrounding brickwork.
- Easy to install during bricklaying.
- Internal nesting cup to promote nest building
- 29x65 mm entrance hole.
- 413cm2 internal space providing maximum habitat within cavity wall construction.
- In-built water drainage to protect against water ingress.
